  • How Do I Activate My Card?
    To activate your card and set a pin, call (800) 717-4923.
  • Why Isn’t My Card Working?
    Your card may have a temporary block on it by our fraud prevention service. Our fraud prevention service will send you a text message to validate activity performed with your card. If you have received such a message, you can reach the fraud prevention service at (866) 508-2693 or you may call the credit union during office hours at (606) 784-2201.
  • What If My Card Gets Lost or Stolen?
    Make sure to take action as soon as possible to protect your funds and your account. If your debit card has been lost or stolen, the best way to protect yourself is by turning off your card through Internet or Mobile Banking.

    Disable your debit card via Mobile Banking App: 
    • Log in to the Morehead Community mobile app
    • Open the menu and select Remote Control Cards under Services
    • Select the lost/stolen card from the list
    • Choose a status option: 
      • DISABLED:  Allows you to temporarily deactivate your card.  You will be able to reactivate it in case it is found
      • LOST or STOLEN, you will have to call the credit union to request a new card
    Disable your debit card via Online Banking:  If you are using your internet browser, log in to our Internet Banking and open the menu, then select Remote Control Cards under Accounts.  From there you can select and change the status of your card.

    Call the credit union during business hours:  Don’t forget to call the credit union at (606) 784-2201 to report lost or stolen cards so we know to print you a new one. We can also answer any additional questions you may have about activity on your lost or stolen card, or the next steps you should take.

  • If I Travel, How Do I Alert MCFCU That The Transactions Are Okay?
    You may send in a travel notification or you call the Credit Union at (606) 784-2201.
